Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa. Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

iSikh is a youth volunteer organisation, also known as Sikh Students Federation - Kenya. iSikh has been organising various youth activities over the past few years.

The first major event was a Sikh Youth Gurmat Week in December of 2004. This was organised in colaboration with The Guru Naanak Nishkam Sevak Jatha, UK at GNNSJ Kericho Gurdwara. Since then, the Sikh Youth Gurmat Weeks have become an annual event in the campers' and our calenders. Previous Smagams have been held at Sri Gurdwara Singh Sabha Mombasa (2005), Sikh Temple Makindu (2006), GNNSJ Gurdwara Kericho (2007) and Brackenhurst, Limuru (2008). This year's Smagam will be held on the outskirts of Nairobi at the Lukenya Getaway in August 2009.

Apart from the Sikh Youth Gurmat Weeks iSikh has also been organising a number of Rainsbaes in Kericho, Nairobi and Kisumu. There also been a number of Youth Kirtan Divans organised in various parts of Nairobi.

iSikh has built its reputation, by Guruji's Kirpa, of a youth organisation that is run by the youth for the youth.

iSikh has a mission statement;

"To promote the principles of Sikhism within the Sikh youth, to nurture their knowledge of our history and the Gurus' teachings so that they can make a more informed judgement about being an Amritdhari, and so that they can move closer to achieving this ultimate goal"

Each member of iSikh is a dedicated player; there are no boundaries or divisions or surnames in our organization. We are the children of that One Guru; Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Our mother, Mata Sahib Kaur. United we stand.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa. Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
