The various Hindu and Sikh organisations in Nairobi are organising a Sports Festival in the first week of October 2009!! Various religious groups have been invited to take part and it would be a great opportunity for our iSikhites to show-off their sporty talents!!!
We have to form our team of Sikhs to compete with Lohana's , Shahs, Patels and a couple of more societies/communities in the various events. I know this might turn out to be a real challenge, but its a wonderful opportunity for us to come out in as many numbers as possible and take part in as many events as possible.
Please find attached the registration forms and events schedule for the event .. The deadline is for the 18th of this month. Please invite any other of your friends who may be interested in taking part in this sports festival - which I believe is the first of its kind held in a very long time!!
